The Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has a score of 75.8, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s 65.7 general score. The Huawei MediaPad M5 10 body is somewhat thinner but notably heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and both were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has older 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie.

Huawei MediaPad M5 10 counts with a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a higher pixel density, a lot bigger display and a much better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.
