The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, having a general score of 65.7 against 60.4. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Despite being the best tablet in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) construction is a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with an additional GPU. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). Both have exactly the same 1280 x 800px resolution, a display of the same size and a greater count of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a greater camera than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a lot higher (Full HD) video resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB and more internal storage.
