The LG G Pad 8.3 has a score of 65.9, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s score of 65.7. LG G Pad 8.3's body is a little bit thinner and a little lighter than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before. Both tablets we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad 8.3 has older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a greater display pixel density, a bit larger display and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features just a bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a way larger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a lot more MP camera in the back.
