The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 2, with a 65.7 score against 63.4. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a a lot lighter device than the Microsoft Surface 2, but they are equally thin. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS, and Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 OS.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a quite higher pixel quantity in each inch in the screen, a much bigger display and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920.
