The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is better than the Microsoft Surface RT, having a 65.7 score against 58.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system.

Microsoft Surface RT features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an additional graphics processor.
