The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a a lot newer and thinner tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), although it is a bit heavier. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1.
