Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an overall score of 74.6, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s 65.7 overall score. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Despite of the fact Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is older and much heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's body is still somewhat thinner.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a larger screen, a lot more pixels per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an extra GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) takes a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with an 8 mega pixels. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has an 8220mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
