Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a general score of 65.7, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy View's overall score of 61.5. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) body is newer, a lot thinner and incredibly lighter than the Galaxy View. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a brighter screen than Galaxy View, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher pixels number per inch in the screen.

The Galaxy View counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy View also has a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy View has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with more internal storage.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a very superior camera than Galaxy View. The Galaxy View features a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 14% greater battery capacity.
