The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a general score of 65.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy View 2's 65.3 score. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is older than the Galaxy View 2, it's design is notably thinner and lighter. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy View 2 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
