The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a global score of 65.7, which is much better than the Sony Tablet S's 57.5 global score. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, counting with lots of additional features. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) body is noticeably newer, noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Sony Tablet S.
