The Xiaomi Pad 6 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), getting a general score of 66.7 against 65.7. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but Xiaomi Pad 6 has the previous 13 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though Xiaomi Pad 6 is incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's a lot thinner and notably newer.
Xiaomi Pad 6 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much higher 1800 x 2880 resolution, a really larger display and way more pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a much powerful processor than Xiaomi Pad 6, although it has 4 less processing cores (although they are faster) and less RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light photos, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a way better 13 mega pixels resolution back facing camera. The Xiaomi Pad 6 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Pad 6 has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 77% bigger battery capacity.
