Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a score of 65.7, which is much better than the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro's 59.4 overall score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has Android 15, so it offers some nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a very superior CPU than Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, although it has 4 lesser cpu cores and lesser RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a much better looking display than Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, although it has a really smaller screen. Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a larger aperture for better photography in low-light environments.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has a much better storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has an 8850mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.
