The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a general score of 69, which is slightly better than Moto Tab G20's 66.3 score. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a much older and heavier device than Moto Tab G20, but Samsung was able to build it just a little thinner anyway. Both tablets in this review work with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System).
The Moto Tab G20 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019). They have a same size screen, a greater pixels quantity per inch of screen and the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280. The Moto Tab G20 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto Tab G20 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 2 TB.
Motorola Moto Tab G20 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has more RAM and a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Moto Tab G20, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Moto Tab G20's battery duration is very similar to the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) one.
