GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), getting a 77.4 score against 69. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has Android 11, so it provides a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s construction has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), but it is much heavier.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has a larger display, a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a lot more pixels per display inch. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has an additional graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features just a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) takes better photographs and videos than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). Both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (Full HD) video resolution.

GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.
