The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), with a 74.5 score against 69. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 body has the same thickness than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), but it's a lot heavier. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has Android 11.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has a bit more pixels per display inch, a way larger screen and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has 1 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019). They have a camera in the back with an 8 MP, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
