Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), having a general score of 74.6 against 69. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has Android 11, giving you lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s construction is newer, somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019).

Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a better display pixel density and a bit larger screen.
