Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a general score of 74.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019)'s 69 general score. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a noticeably older and heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), but Samsung made it somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has Android 11.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has a much better pixel density, a lot bigger display and a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has a greater number of cores (although they are slower) and more RAM memory.
