Comparison review

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, with a 62.5 score against 60.1. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS, but Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 5.0. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 body is noticeably newer and a bit lighter, but thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a bit better looking display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a bit worse resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, they both have a display of the same size.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a camera with a 5 megapixels, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a much better video definition. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little longer battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.

In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is also a bit cheaper, which makes this tablet a simple decision.
