The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has an overall score of 74.6, which is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021)'s overall score of 61.8. These tablets work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is an older tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021), but Samsung could make it thinner and extremely lighter anyway.

Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021) has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). Both have a 3 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a little more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021), because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also counts with a little bit higher display pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) shoots a lot better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021), because it has a way better 1920x1080 video resolution and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. The Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021) counts with more memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have equal internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021) also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021).
