The Apple iPad Air (2019) has a general score of 85.9, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 global score. Although Apple iPad Air (2019) is older and incredibly heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), it's construction is still somewhat thinner. The Apple iPad Air (2019) has a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a just a little lower pixel number per screen inch, it also counts with a better 1668 x 2224 resolution and a bigger screen.
The iPad Air (2019) has a superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. IPad Air (2019) features a better processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and 8 cores, the iPad Air (2019) also has a 64-bits CPU.
The Apple iPad Air (2019) features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has an 8134mAh battery capacity. Apple iPad Air (2019) shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a way smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and a 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera, the Apple iPad Air (2019) also counts with better video frame rate.
