IPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), getting a 76.6 score against 74.6. IPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) works with iPadOS 16.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie operating system. IPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024)'s body is somewhat thinner but a lot heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a very superior processing unit than Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a bit better looking screen than Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024), because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density.
The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a larger aperture to take better photography in poorly lited environments, a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back camera with a much better 12 MP resolution. The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a much longer battery performance than Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024).
Although iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), letting go some specs and features.
