The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has an overall score of 78.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has an older 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even being the best tablet in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also a notably older, just a bit thicker and a lot heavier tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has 4 less CPU cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also counts with a graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a little bit worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a much bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and a same resolution back camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features just a bit bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
