The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a general score of 78.6, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is an older and heavier portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but Samsung was able to make it noticeably thinner anyway. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a bigger display, a little bit greater pixel quantity per screen inch and a better 1600 x 2560 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e also has 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab S5e takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a camera in the back with a much better resolution and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Galaxy Tab S5e has a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a 7040mAh battery size.
Galaxy Tab S5e is more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
