Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a score of 60.5, which is slightly better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 general score. Although Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and Acer Predator 8 were only released 6 months apart, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 construction is thinner but a lot heavier than Acer Predator 8. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version, offering some nice extra features.
Acer Predator 8 features an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen. Acer Predator 8 counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Acer Predator 8 also has 512 MB more RAM.
Acer Predator 8 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Acer Predator 8 also has more internal memory. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has longer battery performance than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4420mAh.
Acer Predator 8 features a camera that is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, both of them have a same resolution camera in the back.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is not only the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
