The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a global score of 68.5 against 60.5. Although Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is older and a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, it's design is still somewhat lighter. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
