Comparison review
Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a score of 62.2, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's general score of 60.5. Even though the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 were released with only a few months difference, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is lighter and thinner. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a way better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a much higher pixel number per screen inch.
Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has more internal storage. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video resolution and a lot more mega pixels back camera. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a much better battery duration than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
