Comparison review

Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is just a bit better than LG G Pad F 8.0, having a 60.5 score against 58.2. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a newer 7.1 Nougat version while LG G Pad F 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version, so it counts with some additional features. Although Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and the LG G Pad F 8.0 were released with only a couple months difference, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is somewhat thinner but also noticeably heavier than the LG G Pad F 8.0.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 features a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater screen density and a quite better 800 x 1280px resolution. The LG G Pad F 8.0's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Galaxy Tab A 9.7's one, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB and equal 16 GB internal storage.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 has a processing unit that is very similar to the CPU in Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although the LG G Pad F 8.0 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a very superior battery performance than LG G Pad F 8.0, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.

LG G Pad F 8.0's camera is just as good as the camera in Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although the LG G Pad F 8.0 has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, they both have the same resolution back facing camera.
