Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is slightly better than LG G Pad II 8.0, getting a general score of 60.5 against 58.3. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and LG G Pad II 8.0 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is somewhat thinner but much heavier than LG G Pad II 8.0.

LG G Pad II 8.0's CPU is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 one, both have 4 processing cores and 1,5 GB of RAM. LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen density and a little higher resolution of 800 x 1280px.

LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with much more storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the LG G Pad II 8.0 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a very superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.

LG G Pad II 8.0 features a camera that is just as good as the camera in Galaxy Tab A 9.7, both of them have a same resolution back facing camera.
