The LG G Pad III 8.0 has a general score of 64.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 overall score. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad III 8.0 has the older 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. The LG G Pad III 8.0 body is just a bit thicker but notably lighter than Galaxy Tab A 9.7.
