LG G Pad X 8.3 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a general score of 61.1 against 60.5. These tablets include Android OS, but LG G Pad X 8.3 has an older 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Although the LG G Pad X 8.3 and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 were released only a couple of months apart, the LG G Pad X 8.3 body is somewhat thicker but lighter.
LG G Pad X 8.3 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1920 x 1080px resolution and a way greater screen density. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 feature very similar storage to store more games and applications, they have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 128 GB. LG G Pad X 8.3 captures greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has longer battery performance than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4800mAh.
