Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, getting a 66.3 score against 60.5. Even being the best in our current comparison, Microsoft Surface 3 is a thicker and a lot heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. Microsoft Surface 3 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much better 1920 x 1280 pixels resolution, a quite bigger screen and way more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Microsoft Surface 3 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has more RAM. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3. The Microsoft Surface 3 shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much better (Full HD) video definition and a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface 3, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up some specifications.
