The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a score of 72.2 against 60.5. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Although it's the best we are comparing, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is an older, thicker and way heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much higher 1440 x 2160px resolution, a bigger screen and a much higher display pixels density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
