Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a score of 65, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's overall score of 60.5. Even being the best device in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also older, a little thicker and a lot heavier. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 works with Windows 8 OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat OS.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has lesser CPU cores , it also counts with 512 MB more RAM memory. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a slightly better 768 x 1366px resolution, a little bigger screen and a little greater pixel density.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both have a 5 megapixels resolution back facing camera, the same video definition and the same video frame rates. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
