Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, getting a score of 66.3 against 60.5. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, it must be told that it is also incredibly older, thicker and noticeably heavier. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has an older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

Galaxy Note 10.1 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a little bit bigger display, a slightly higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a bit greater display pixel density. Galaxy Note 10.1 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with greater battery life than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. They have the same video frame rate, a back camera with a 5 mega pixels and the same (HD) video quality.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up a couple features and specifications.
