The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a score of 63 against 60.5. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Even being the best tablet in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's construction is noticeably older, much heavier and thicker than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a little greater display pixel density, a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a bit larger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's camera is very similar to the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 one, both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same resolution camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
