Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, having a 66.5 score against 60.5. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's design is way lighter than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it's a lot thicker and was released 2 years before. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, it also counts with more pixels per display inch. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has less cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a camera with lot more MP. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
