Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a general score of 67.8 against 60.5. Although it's the best we compare here, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 body is older, a little bit heavier and a little thicker than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a 1,5 GB RAM and 4 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a bit larger screen, a bit higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a just a little better number of pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it has a worse (HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with lot less MP resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
