Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, having a 69 score against 60.5. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has the older 11 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Even though Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a little bit thicker than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, it's incredibly lighter and also incredibly newer.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better 800 x 1280 resolution.
