Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab E is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, getting a score of 60.7 against 60.5. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab E has older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Galaxy Tab E is a thicker and just a little bit heavier device than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7.

Galaxy Tab E has a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab A 9.7. They have 4 cores and 1,5 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab E features a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280 and a quite higher count of pixels in each inch in the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7. Both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same resolution back facing camera. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has 16 GB internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a 20 percent larger battery capacity.
