The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch is much better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, getting a 74 score against 60.5. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch and the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 were only released with a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch is lighter and way thinner. Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch has a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch also has a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a much higher screen pixels density.
The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch also has 64 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch features a better CPU than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has 1,5 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch, because it has a 2% larger battery capacity.
