Comparison review
The Galaxy View 2 has a general score of 65.3, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's score of 60.5. Galaxy View 2's body is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's, although it is extremely heavier and a lot thicker. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy View 2 has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat, so it provides the user some extra features.
The Galaxy View 2 counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite worse pixels density, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot bigger display. The Galaxy View 2 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has 48 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has more cpu cores and 1,5 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 shoots greater videos and photos than Galaxy View 2. Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a 12000mAh battery capacity instead of 6000mAh.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy View 2, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up some features and specs.
