Comparison review
Xiaomi MiPad is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, having a global score of 64.4 against 60.5. The Xiaomi MiPad design is lighter than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it's thicker and was released about 12 months before. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xiaomi MiPad counts with a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and a lot greater pixels density. Xiaomi MiPad takes a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Xiaomi MiPad counts with as much storage for apps and games as the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi MiPad has a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a 6700mAh battery capacity against 6000mAh.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A 9.7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
