Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, with a 74.2 score against 68.5. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has older 11 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2. The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite construction has the same thickness than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, but it's just a little bit lighter.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has a lot more pixels per inch in the screen, a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a little bit bigger display.
