Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a general score of 74.3, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite's score of 74.2. Although Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is notably older and heavier than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, it's body is still somewhat thinner. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has Android 11 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features and enhanced performance.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has a 7900mAh battery size. Galaxy Tab A7 Lite shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both of them have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same video quality and a 8 mega-pixels back camera.
Although Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
