Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A8's score of 62.6. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a incredibly older and a little thicker tablet than the Galaxy Tab A8, but Amazon was able to build it lighter anyway. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version.

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixel density and a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. The Galaxy Tab A8 has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a really superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab A8 has a way better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab A8.
