Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a score of 62.6, which is a little bit better than the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T's 57.6 general score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has the older 11 version while Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8's construction is much newer, somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T counts with a much better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores. The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T has a lot better display than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a higher pixels density.

Galaxy Tab A8 counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy Tab A8 features a really longer battery duration than Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF701T.
