The Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 has an overall score of 65.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A8's 62.6 overall score. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 has the newer 13 version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version, so it counts with some extra features and performance optimizations. Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 is a notably newer tablet than the Galaxy Tab A8, although it's a little bit thicker and a bit heavier.

Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 also has a quite better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a little higher number of pixels per display inch.
