Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but LG G Pad III 8.0 has newer 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version, so it provides the user some extra features. The LG G Pad III 8.0 is a a lot lighter but somewhat thicker portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab A8.
LG G Pad III 8.0 has a much better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The LG G Pad III 8.0 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.
LG G Pad III 8.0 has slightly more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Tab A8 takes just a bit better photos and videos than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab A8 features a very superior battery performance than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has a 7040mAh battery size.
