Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a general score of 65, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A8's global score of 62.6. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the older 4.1 version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) body is extremely older, somewhat heavier and extremely thicker than the Galaxy Tab A8.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution, a quite smaller display and a way lower pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1 TB and more internal memory.
