Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) construction is a lot older, somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier than the Galaxy Tab A8. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11, counting with some extra features and some performance improvements.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a much more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a just a bit higher screen pixels density.
